The Alien Cycle service plan is a practical, economical service plan
based on real life condishions, not marketing and selling.
It is backed by 25 plus years of working on and riding Harley's.

 

My service plan goes like this:

Change motor oil and filter every 4000 miles (regular petrolem based oil)
**OR** every 8,000 miles, w/filter change and top off at 4,000 miles (Amsoil)

Check and top off transmission fluid.

Check and adjust primary chain

Change primary oil every oil filter change.

Check spark plugs, wires, coil, and igntion.

Inspect tires and check air pressure

Inspect brake system; fluid, lines, pads, etc..

Inspect and adjust rear drive belt or chain, chains get lubed.

Check fastners and look over bike in general.

Check and lube all cables; Throttle, clutch, choke and speedometer

Adjust clutch if necessary

Check shocks

Check for oil leaks and oil lines

Check neck bearing adjustment

Check charging system and all regular electrical components: lights, horn, blinkers, etc..
( on fuel injected bikes this includes hooking up scanlizer tool and checking for codes etc...)

****Additional Costs to Service****



Change trans fluid every 20,000 miles or 2 years.  (add $7.00 regular or $12.50 Amsoil)


Change spark plugs every 20,000 miles  (add $6.50 for plugs)

Change spark plug wires every 5 to 7 years.  (add $15.00 to $30.00 for wires)


Change brake fluid every 2 years (add $60.00)

Change fork Oil every 2 to 3 years or 40,000 miles  (add $70.00 to $250 depending on model)

Service swingarm every 20,000 miles. (add $130.00 and parts if necessary)

Adjust neck bearings. (add $25.00 to $150.00depending on model)

Replace neck bearings on Springer Softails (add 235.00 parts included)

Adjust rocker bearings on Springers. (add $25.00)
