Service work needs to be scheduled and normally it's in one day and out the next, or dropped off at 11am and ready by 6pm. change oil and filter, clean magnetic drain plug change primary chain case fluid, clean magnetic drain plug check transmission lubricant check and adjust primary drive chain check spark plugs, replace if necessary inspect oil lines check and adjust pushrods (flatheads, kunckles, pans, shovels, sportsters) Check igntion timing and components inspect and clean air cleaner, replace as needed lubricate front brake lever, throttle and cables, clutch lever and cable, speedometer cable, & kickstand and other pivot points check battery, connections and charging system voltage check lights and horn check and adjust clutch and cable freeplay inspect engine mounts inspect petcock and fuel lines check tire tread and air pressure check wheels, tighten spokes if needed inspect brake pads, discs, lines and fluid. check and adjust rear belt or chain, lube chain check shocks and front end check engine idle speed and adjust if necessary check operation of throttle and choke check front fork bearing adjustment hook up scan tool check codes and engine information while running check and adjust springer rocker bearings check and re-torque critical fastners check and top off coolent road test |
