These are some pictures taken just holding a camera up to the eye
piece.
This is not really the way to take pictures with a telescope, but it
gives you
an idea of what the scope is capable of. These look to be about 150x
magnification.
In real life it's actually only like 80x , but the zoom on the camera
magnifies it more.
You can also see they are kind of blurry. Part of that is the
magnification from
the camera and part is the fact that your not really supposed to
just hold a camera up
to the lens and the other part is I'm trying to focus the scope
and camera and play
with the zoom all at the same time. Still they look pretty cool.
In person the image
is nice and sharp and looks 3 dimensional. They pretty much stay
that way as you go
up in magnification, even at 600x the moon is sharp.
