1941 pinion side big flathead case. This could be either ULH 80" or
UL 74".
No cracks and I repaired the two generator switch bracket holes
with heli coils (1/4x 24). It will of course need new cam bushings and
a
new pinion shaft bushing and to be line honed properly to a left side
case.
I left the pad where it mounts to the frame alone because it is probably
easier to shim it, rather than weld it and file it down. However the
choice
is obviously yours. Oil pump studs are goood, as are the cylinder studs.
You can see a hole about the size of a dime in the front baffle plate.
I wouldn't worry about it. As a matter of fact if it was me I'd cut it
out
all together so I could fit some stroker wheels in the motor...
